Floathouse Journal Vol. 2 — Synthetic Production Study

Can a single historical uniform evolve into multiple realities?
This project reimagines the 1920s steamboat deck crew through a series of speculative worlds, using AI-assisted imaging as a tool for visual R&D.





Concept
 Starting from archival references — silhouettes, textiles, and crew hierarchies — the series explores how maritime workwear might adapt in alternate timelines:

one cold and industrial, one dreamlike and chromatic, one grounded in contemporary subcultural style.



The goal was not to generate images, but to design a coherent visual system that holds under multiple atmospheric conditions.
