Home Again Festival — Aftermovie
Lead Edit / Direction of Video Team
Shot over two days with minimal gear and a small team, I not only edited the film but also coordinated the entire post-production workflow. Drone operators, b-roll shooters, photographers — all delivered material to my spec to bring this together.
Rather than a linear recap set to one track, I built a dynamic structure mixing audio cuts, mood shifts, and layered formats: VHS, photography collages, and cinematic digital footage. From euphoric techno to dreamy ambient, the pacing reacts to sound, moment, and emotion.
Creative techniques like tape-speed transitions, archival overlays, and spatial rhythm made it feel less like an aftermovie — and more like a personal, fast-cut film about being there.
